“This is only the beginning”: Ontario NDP’s Shailer thanks Lambton Kent Middlesex community

STRATHROY – Kathryn Shailer, NDP Candidate for Lambton-Kent-Middlesex, released the following statement to celebrate the work of volunteers and organizers who came together to raise a voice for Lambton-Kent-Middlesex during the by-election:

“It’s been an incredibly rewarding campaign, and an honour to connect with people from Strathroy to Alvinston to Wallaceburg on the biggest issues facing our communities.

From bringing the fight against Dresden's landfill to Queen's Park to advocating for maternal care in Strathroy, we’ve accomplished so much in such a short time and raised a real voice for our riding.

That incredible work is only the beginning. To everyone who knocked on doors, who signed petitions, who got involved with the campaign – thank you. Together, we’re going to keep up the good work and elect an Ontario NDP government in 2026.”
